I’m a New York city based independent filmmaker and archival producer who tells stories about daring characters with bold voices. I was the co-originator and co-director of THE MARTHA MITCHELL EFFECT (2023), an Academy Award nominated archival documentary short distributed by Netflix that premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival. My recent archival credits include THE LAST CRITIC, WTO/99, SWAMP DOGG GETS HIS POOL PAINTED, WOMEN LAUGHING, OH YEAH and others. I’m a member of the Archival Producers Alliance and work to educate the industry about and advocate for the unique craft of archival filmmaking. For eleven and a half years, I was a senior creative member at Oscilloscope Laboratories, a film distribution company in New York City founded by Adam Yauch of Beastie Boys. I was also a producer for The Criterion Collection in New York City, and an associate producer in documentary television in New York City and San Francisco. When I’m not making films or creating other cool stuff, I’m biking around the five boroughs and practicing my pizzaiola skills.
